Collection of nearly all line-engraved on album pages. Mint includes 1840 1d black with large part original gum but horizontal crease, 1d reds, 1841 2d blue trial plate with no corner letters unused (no gum). Used includes 1840 1d Mulready envelope, 1840 2d blue x 3, one with red and black cancels, one with CDS, much else line-engraved with varieties and unusual postmarks. Also 1/- embossed die proof of head (faults), a few covers noting 1840 2d blue pair, embossed 1/- cut square etc.
