Bristol - 1673 entire letter addressed to Sir Thomas Osborne "Treasurer for His Majestye Navye" from a Mr Bayher. Letter requests £500 for work to a ship at Bristol. Bishop mark and manuscript 3d (over 80 miles) which is deleted, probably because the cover is inscribed 'For His Majste Service'. Slightly grubby but sound.
